On June 12, VETASSESS will resume accepting new applications for the occupations of Chef and Fitter (General).
From that date, applicants will be able to lodge new applications for:
- Chef (Commercial Cookery), ANZCO Code 351311
- Chef (Asian Cookery), ANZCO Code 351311
- Fitter (General), ANZCO Code 323211
This applies to Pathway 1 and Pathway 2 applications under OSAP and TSS programs.
We paused taking new applications in September 2023 so we could focus on processing current cases, and we are reopening these occupations following discussions with Trades Recognition Australia (TRA).
New applications remain paused for the following occupations:
- Electrician (General), ANZSCO Code 341111
- Metal Machinist (First Class), ANZSCO Code 323214
