Developed in collaboration with the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI), the professional association for marketers in Australia, these marketing credentials are underpinned by industry expert validation. A professional practice credential – aligned to international qualification and industry frameworks – provides you with the opportunity to validate your skills across five pillars of marketing.
The AMI marketing credential provides recognition of a marketers’ core technical knowledge in areas such as digital and data-driven marketing; content and creative marketing as well as customer experience.

The Assessment Process
The credentials process is designed to be straightforward; it’s about recognising the skills you already have through an evidence-based assessment. You don’t need to sit an exam or attend any classes to demonstrate your chosen skill. AMI Credentials offer a new way to recognise the skills and knowledge that you already have through your current work experience and on-the-job training. Assessments are conducted based on the evidence applicants provide to convey their expertise in marketing.
Marketing Credentials - How to Apply

Select the credential that you want to be assessed against. As part of this application, you need to supply two examples of your work, with supporting evidence documents and a 500-word reflective testimony. We recommend that the examples you select include at least two to three pieces of evidence per example.

Submit your application through the form below and pay the application fee of $228.00 plus GST. Allow up to two weeks for the skills assessment by the VETASSESS team.

Successful candidates receive a credential certificate and digital badge that can be shared publicly through social media, professional platforms such as LinkedIn, and added to your resume or website.

It is important to consider and select examples of your work, with supporting evidence documents, before writing your 500-word reflective testimony. You many provide examples of work that best represent your marketing skills.
