We have made some changes to the operation of skills assessments for trade occupations.
Digital Qualification Certificate
We are now providing digitally-issued qualifications to our trade applicants. The security features in this new format ensure that each qualification is a valid certified document, holds the VETASSESS digital signature and cannot be amended once issued. The qualification documents (qualification certificate/statement of attainment and statement of results) are now available to download in pdf format from the online portal along with the skills assessment result letter. Traditional printed copies will also continue to be issued, once our staff can safely return to the office.
Evidence Guide
The Evidence Guide has been redesigned and updated with the relevant information about the employment and training documents required for Documentary Evidence Assessment. It is available for download in pdf format here.
Technical Interviews for Non-Licensed Trade Occupations
We are still conducting technical interviews for non-licensed trades and Pathway 2 licensed occupations online. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, practical assessments remain postponed until further notice. For more information and updates, please email us at tradeassess@vetassess.com.au
