VETASSESS and the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) have launched five digital badges to recognise the skills of marketing professionals.
The VETASSESS|AMI marketing credentials provide marketers with an opportunity to strengthen their professional brand with Australian-recognised marketing certification.
The badges will recognise five specialisations:
- Data-driven marketing
- Digital marketing
- Content marketing
- Creative design marketing
- Customer experience
To earn a credential and digital badge, marketers will supply examples of their work and two referees for VETASSESS to contact.
The assessment for the credential will be made by the specialist VETASSESS team that also assesses the qualifications and employment credentials of marketers who want to migrate to Australia as skilled migrants.
Australian Marketing Institute CEO Bronwyn Heys said the five credentials have been chosen to reflect the current demands and future trends of the marketing industry.
“By earning these credentials, marketing professionals demonstrate their dedication to maintaining high standards and ethical practices, which can enhance their credibility and trustworthiness in the eyes of employers and clients alike. This ensures that credential holders are equipped with up-to-date and relevant expertise,” she said.
VETASSESS Executive Director Dr Mamta Chauhan said the digital badges recognise there are many ways to specialise within marketing and many highly qualified marketers have entered the industry with a business or commerce degree and since gained specialised knowledge.
“There are certainly people who may not have a marketing qualification, but they have developed their skills along the way through their professional journey. Credentials are an effective medium to showcase relevant skills and expertise acquired through experience,” she said.
