VETASSESS and eWorks host the Australian Government’s International Skills Training program

They are licensed by the Australian Government to quality registered training organisations (RTOs) for flexible offshore delivery.

VETASSESS has hosted the program since it was launched in 2017 and recently won the tender to continue the service.

VETASSESS and eWorks host and maintain the online assessment platform, assessment services, and administration support to RTOs that deliver the courses.

Courses are offered with assessment materials, and are available in English, Hindi, Indonesian, Mandarin and Vietnamese.

People who complete the courses are granted a certificate and eWorks maintains a database that allows third parties such as potential employers and training organisations to validate the certificate’s authenticity.

VETASSESS Executive Director Rob Thomason says there is a global skills shortage of many technical skills.

“Both governments and individuals are looking for quality training that is recognised internationally,” he said.

“The teachers and trainers who graduate from these courses will gain skills that are in high demand and that they will use to help economic development in their home countries.”
